Fossils of Texas

This is the second trip to Waco Pit with the Fossil Forum based out of
Florida... We are all on this forum together and that is how the first Waco Trip last year came to be.

Both trips led by Owen Martin of Texas

This first is a few of us before the hunt (pic by JP Bowden)

My finds are below


Various gastropods and ammonites (most of these are pyritized) All these are much smaller than a US penny


An unknown above and part of the beak of a squid (I traded this for one of my ammos)


Beautiful pieces of pyrite found. These also are tiny

Two oysters intertwined and a cretalamna shark tooth..


Two goniophorus (echinoids)


A crayfish.. pretty cool. He was fairly large too
