Today I originally went to scout another area and on my way back, headed a different direction and found a small creek loaded with heart urchins, gastropods, both large and small, ammonite fragments, bi-valves and pectens.






Below is a piece of modern bone that looks almost tusk-like.

HUNTING LOCAL CREEKS

Ahbrum and I , headed out this morning to hunt a few sites near here.

The following pics will show the formations and some of the fossils found there.

This formation produces a lot of echinoids, bivalves, and ammonites. You can see the formation wall behind Abhrum.

Further up the creek
This is the second creek that we visited. Note the nice ammonite impression.
Here, Ahbrum has spotted the ammonite he wants.
